Who qualifies
- The beneficiary must be approved for the Disability Tax Credit, a Canadian resident, under 60, and have a Social Insurance Number.
- The government bond (up to $1,000/year) is paid to low-income beneficiaries even with no personal contributions.

Open an RDSP at a bank or credit union
Contact a financial institution that offers RDSPs. You need an approved DTC and a Social Insurance Number.
